Nicolas Nguyen (born 8 August 2005) is a Slovak professional football player who plays as a midfielder for 3. Liga (Slovakia) club FK Podkonice.[1]
Club career
Nicolas began his career at the youth teams of the club Železiarne Podbrezová. In the 2022–23 season, he was promoted to the first team.[2][3]
For the 2023–24 season, he was loaned by Železiarne Podbrezová to the FK Pohronie club. He played for the U19 team and the first team of FK Pohronie.[4]
In March 2024, after the loan contract ended, he decided to join the club FK Podkonice.[5]
International career
Nicolas Nguyen has a Vietnamese father and a Slovak mother, so he can play for both Vietnam and Slovakia. He was called up for Slovakia U15 team in 2019 in the international friendly tournament U15 and he made one appearance in the match against Slovenia U15.
