Niels Helmink
Niels Helmink (born August 24, 1976 in Gaanderen, Gelderland) is a Dutch photographer known for his architectural projects. His latest project "Shopkeepers" deals with the disappearance of authentic shopkeepers in the Netherlands. The variety of interiors that he shows gives a good peak inside the vanishing world of shop interiors in the twentieth century. A book with a selection of the shopkeepers series wil be published in May 2008. He has won 4 Honorable mentions at the 2007 IPA international Photography awards.
