Nigerian Army Cyber Warfare Command (NACWC) conducts information dominance and cyberspace operations as the Army service component command of the Nigerian Army.[2]

The command was established on 28 August 2018 and was intended to be the Army's single point of contact for external organizations regarding information operations and cyberspace.[3]

Mission

The Cyber Warfare Command “is charged with the responsibility to monitor, defend and attack subversive elements in the cyberspace.” Also to directs and conducts integrated information and cyberspace operations as authorized, or directed, to ensure freedom of action in and through cyberspace and the information environment, and to deny the same to its adversaries.

Organization

Nigerian Army Cyber Warfare Command is the Army service component command supporting ground troops fighting nationwide with adequate intelligence and operational needs.[4]
