Nimika Ratnakar (born 1 August 1990) is an Indian film actress and model working primarily in Kannada cinema. She is known for winning the Miss India Super talent pageant 2017. She had also participated in Miss Super Talent of the World 2017 held in Seoul, South Korea.[1][2][3] She is also a playback singer in the Kannada film industry and Tulu film industry, known for her performance in the movie Madipu under the music direction of V. Manohar.[4]
Early life[edit]
Nimika Ratnakar was born in Mangalore to Ratnakar NB & Hemalata and raised in Muscat, Mumbai, and Mangalore.[5] She is fluent in Tulu, Kannada, Konkani, Hindi, and English. She has a younger brother Nitik Ratnakar.[1]
Nimika began her acting career as a child artist in the Kannada movie Annaji, starring Kumar Govind, Ashok Kumar, Shobaraj, and Raymond Dsouza and produced & directed by her father Ratnakar NB. She was also actively involved in sports during her school days.
Post her graduation, she worked as a teacher in History and Indian Politics in Bengaluru as well as in a software development company.[6] At the same time, she worked as a playback singer and had playback offers from Tulu and Kannada films.[7]
Currently she is working with Upendra and Ravichandran in the Kannada movie Ravichandra.[8]
She is acting with Krishna (Kannada actor) in the Kannada movie Virgin.[9]

Nimika has an engineering degree from MITE.[1]
