Nissan Motor Egypt was established in 2005 as a joint venture between the Egyptian Automotive Group (EAG) and Nissan Motor Company Limited Japan. EAG holds 63% ownership stake while Nissan owns 37%. In February 2018 the company moved its headquarters from Sadat City to Sheikh Zayed city. As of today they have 4 showrooms located within Greater Cairo area(Kornish Al nile , Nasr City, Maadi & Sheikh zayed). Also there are more than 19 service centers across Egypt for customers convenience.
One of their most successful models in Egypt has been the Nissan Sunny, which was launched in April 2011. This model was designed specifically for emerging markets like Egypt, with features such as high fuel efficiency and affordability in mind. Another popular model is the Patrol, which is a rugged SUV that is well suited to the terrain and conditions found in Egypt. Nissan Motor Egypt has also introduced other vehicles including the Sentra, Note, Navara, Pathfinder, Juke and Kicks models.
