Nithin A.F. (born 21 September, 1987) is an Indian Clinical Psychologist, who has completed more than 300 days of Covid-19 duty without a single leave and remuneration at Government General Hospital, Trivandrum, Kerala State, India.[1] [2] [3] [4]
Born and raised in Kerala, Nithin obtained a bachelor's degree in Physics and a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Mar Ivanios College IGNOU, Trivandrum. In 2019, he published his research on 'Hierarchical order in families and its relationship to family functioning'. He carried out an Internship and training in Clinical Psychology at Government Mental Hospital, Peroorkada, Trivandrum[5]. His favorite areas of study are Psychology of Abnormal, Social and Personality. Special interest in the Psychological significance of Theology and Philosophy, and Family Structure and its influence on the development of Morality and Value System[6]
Early life
Nithin was born on 21st September, 1987 in Trivandrum, Capital City of God's own country, Kerala. His hometown is Perumkadavila in Neyattinkara[7]. He was the eldest of two children born to Azary and Fameela. Azary was an Overseer in State Government Electricity Board, Fameela is a homemaker. His brother Dr. Anoop A.F. is a graduate in Medicine.
Education
LKG to 4th standard in RCLPS Keezharoor(Mottavila) was an average student. Then he went to Govt. HSS Marayamuttom and attended tuition in Shaws academy(average in all subjects(except Hindi-below average) but he was expert in science). Scored 77% in SSLC(10th) and passed out successfully. Then, he joined LMS HSS Amaravila for +1(11th) studies. Here, he couldn't get a satisfactory education. Then +2(12th) continued in Govt. Boys HSS Neyyattinkara. In 2005, he completed his higher secondary course in computer science and Entrance coaching in ZEPHYR Trivandrum. In the middle of 2005, he joined Govt. Engg College Wayanad in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He completed his engineering course in 2009[8]. Then he did IELTS and BSc in Physics and a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology at Mar Ivanios College Trivandrum(IGNOU).
Career
Now, he is working as a Psychologist in Government General Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram[9]. His services are available on various platforms including private consultation at home[10] [11].
He worked in Sutherland Global Service in Cochin for AT&T of the United States of America as a technical consultant for 1 year and 3 months in 2011-12.
He worked a part time job in Romansons Business Centre, Statue, Trivandrum as an Internet Administrator.(Jan 2014 - Jun 2017)
He taught (part time) Physics for Plus One and Plus Two students in various tuition centers in Kerala.
