In 2018, the current principal of Nkosibomvu Mr. Henry Cebekhulu was honored with the Nelson Mandela Centenary Award[3] by the Nelson Mandela Foundation and the Tongaat Child Welfare for his contributions in the academic sphere of Tongaat.
