Noah Dillon (born August 2, 1994) is an American artist, photographer, and musician. He is based in Los Angeles, California.
Early life[edit]
Dillon grew up in Durango, Colorado.[1] He studied at Fort Lewis College, where he majored in physiology and minored in education.[1] Dillon quit a job working at a grocery store and moved to Los Angeles to pursue photography.[2][3]
Career[edit]
Dillon has shot for Gucci, Maison Margiela, Off-White, and American Apparel.[4][5][6][7] He has photographed Vince Staples and Miley Cyrus,[8] and collaborated with Vivienne Westwood, Virgil Abloh and Tyler Mitchell.[1][3][6][8]
In 2019, he directed the music video for Brockhampton collaborator Ryan Beatty's single "Dark Circles."[9][10]
In 2020, Dillon was selected as a Poynter Fellow at Yale University, where he spoke to students about questions of authenticity and art.[11] Dillon photographed Mackenzie Foy for the digital cover of Flaunt Magazine. Dillon and his work have been featured in Dazed, i-D, GQ, Women's Wear Daily, DIY, Highsnobiety and W Magazine.[12][13][14][2][9][15][6]
Hot Mess[edit]
In 2017, Dillon collaborated with Luka Sabbat on Hot Mess, a company they described as a "creative platform to produce anything we think is cool."[2][5][6] Hot Mess was the subject of a documentary on Freeform.
In 2019, Hot Mess released exclusive merchandise with SSENSE.[16]
THE HELLP[edit]
Dillon is the frontman of the band THE HELLP along with drummer Chandler Lucy. The band is signed to Terrible Records.
