Nomaqhikiza Mokoni, known professionally as Noma Mokoni, is a Zimbabwean fashion model based in the United States. She is represented by Women Management in Los Angeles, Women 360 in New York, PMA in Germany, and Boss Models in Cape Town.[1][2][3][4]
Early life
Mokoni was born in Bulawayo and raised in Gwanda South, where she completed her high school education at Gungwe High School.[5]
Career
Mokoni’s career took off in 2021 when she was scouted in Cape Town. She has worked with Foschini, Sports Scene, Mr Price, and Mr Price Sports.[5] She made her international fashion editorial debut in the “Coven” spread for Vogue Portugal (June 2022).[6] Later in 2022, she collaborated with designer Rich Mnisi for Adidas’s “Homeland” collection campaigns, covered by IOL and Hype Magazine.[7][8] She was later profiled in The Herald (Zimbabwe) for her growing international career.[9] In August 2025, My Afrika Mag featured her journey, highlighting her authenticity and resilience on global runways.[10]
Philanthropy
Mokoni has announced plans to launch a modeling agency to help Zimbabwean talent gain international placements and to create a charitable initiative, providing school supplies to students in rural Zimbabwe.[9]
