Nothing is Strange

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Nothing Is Strange is a British flash fiction anthology by writer Mike Russell.[1] It was released on December 31, 2014, by Strange Books.[2] Nothing Is Strange is the first of three books by Mike Russell, the following two being Strange Medicine and Strungballs.

In a review for Cultured Vultures, Ben Arzate praised Nothing Is Strange and wrote "Nothing Is Strange is a solid collection of surreal and absurd stories. The prose is simple and the stories are very short, but it uses those characteristics to their advantage."[3]

In a review for Jaffalogue, Jaffa Kintigh wrote "This collection of absurdist vignettes follows in the footsteps of James Thurber, Bohumil Hrabal, and Donald Barthelme in offering social commentary on the modern human condition while riding the line between allegory and surrealism."[4]

In a review for Muzzleland Press, R. L. Jones wrote "The book’s tone, and some of the stories, reminded me of episodes of Dark Mirror, though not as dark or disturbing."[5]
