Novus Anti-Aging Center is a clinic based in Studio City, CA focusing primarily on men's sexual health, hormone optimization and regenerative medicine. Founded in 2017 by Stephanie Wolff PA-C, a Board Certified Anti-Aging Specialist, Hormone and Peptide Expert with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M); A Board-Certified Physicians Assistant and Certified Weight-Loss Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the clinic has become the largest clinic in North America [1] for treating erectile dysfunction, Peyronie's disease and sexual performance. Using shockwave therapy, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), stem cell Exosomes, hormone and peptide therapy, Novus reports a 90-95% success rate.[2][3]

In the May/June 2018 issue of Ventura Blvd. Magazine, Novus and Wolff were named as one the magazine's "top docs" for Southern California.[4]

The Phoenix[edit]

In 2018, Wolff along with her ex-husband Dustin Wolff and inventor Jon Hoffman invented and developed the Phoenix, the first ever home use shockwave device for erectile dysfunction, Peyronie's disease and sexual performance. After a year of clinical studies held at Novus, the device originally called the Rocket, was brought to market in 2019 via the trio's new venture Launch Medical. After a settlement resolution with GAINSWave, the newly renamed Phoenix relaunched while giving GAINSWave the exclusive right to offer a professional version of the device through clinics and medical professionals.[5][non-primary source needed]

COVID-19[edit]

In the 2020 Michael Hiltzik Los Angeles Times column "Don’t be taken in by stem cell firms offering unsubstantiated therapies for COVID-19," Hitzik states that the Novus clinic's treatment using nebulizers to inhale stem cell exosomes for COVID-19 "aren’t supported by scientific research."[6] Novus' then controversial treatment has since been clinically proven in multiple studies in Israel and Canada with "29 of 30 phase 1 trial patients leaving the hospital within 3-5 days." [7] A Bloomberg business article dated Octobver 23, 2020 states "Potential application of mesenchymal stem cells and their exosomes in lung injury: an emerging therapeutic option for COVID-19 patients."[8] Another study published in the Journal of Stem Cell Research & Therapy on October 15, 2020 outlined that mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and their exosomes have potential therapeutic functions in the handling of COVID-19. Specifically, the study demonstrated that exosomes have the ability to enhance alveolar fluid clearance and promote epithelial and endothelial recovery through secretion of protective factors. [9][10][11] Wolff used the exact protocol: “The preparation is inhaled once a day for a few minutes, for five days.”
