Nowi is a Delft-based energy harvesting PMIC fabless semiconductor company,[1][2][3][4] founded by Simon van der Jagt and Omar Link in 2015.[5][6][7][8][9][10]

Nowi specializes in energy harvesting power management (PMIC) technology which increases the battery life of low-power connected devices.[1][2][3][4] The Nowi IP enables chip and device manufacturers to use external energy sources while not requiring additional external components and retaining an ultra-small PCB footprint.[11][12][13][3][14]

Nowi has raised a total of €1.4 million from RVO, and €1.5 million from Disruptive Technology Ventures, an Amsterdam VC firm.[5][15][16][17]

Awards and Recognition[edit]

Nowi has won the Chinese Advanced Semiconductor Association Award (CASA),[18] an Accenture award for innovation in the Dutch market,[19][20] DEWA Future Utility Cup,[21][22][23] and the University startup World Cup.[6][24]
