Nth Ascension is a British progressive rock band which was formed in 2009. The band released their debut studio album entitled Ascension Of Kings in December 2014.[1]
Biography
Imagined in November 2009 by keyboard player Darrel Treece-Birch (TEN) and drummer Craig Walker, the Nth Ascension’s lineup was completed by long time writing partners Alan ‘Spud’ Taylor and guitarist Martin Walker in January 2010. In late 2011, the band issued their first release entitled Frequencies Of Day & Night[2] in late 2011 as a free download option via Aurovine. In 2012, Gavin Walker joined the band on bass guitar, while in 2013 the band began sessions developing what became the songs for their first full-length album entitled Ascension Of Kings. Later the same year, the band signed to Sonic Vista Records and began recording the Ascension Of Kings album, which was released in December 2014.[3][4]
The band has been influenced by bands such as Marillion, Genesis, Yes, Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Rush, Dream Theater, Pink Floyd and many more.
