    NumReceipt[edit]

    NumReceipt is a receipt scanner app designed for tracking the expense. This software application was designed to scan the receipt, add expenses, track business miles and store the expense for an effective expense managementsystem. It allows users to generate expense reports to be used for personal expense evaluation, budget planning, Tax management, and Reimbursement. NumReceipt is aimed at enabling personal/Small business /Self-employed/Accountants to manage the business expenses, business income, and client accounts to maintain a clear accounting. It works seamlessly in web, Android and iOS.

    Terminology[edit]

    The term NumReceipt was conceptualized from Number and Receipt.The main ideology of the name NumReceipt was derived by the concept that  Numbers in Receipts should be made more meaningful with NumReceipt as all expenses involve Receipts and all receipts involve numbers and together framed as NumReceipt.

    Mission

    NumReceipt was developed by NumReceipt INC[1].NumReceipt INC  was founded by Karol Stuart T in the year 2011. He wanted to build an innovative platform that would bring back nature and reduce paper footprint. As an initiative to this green thinking, an idea sparked in his mind to reduce paper usage and contribute to saving the environment. Thereby  Numreceipt App was developed. The company is headquartered in Atlanta, GA, USA currently.

    Vision

    Numreceipt has plans to integrate (Google Home/Alexa)  capabilities into their product by using the Alexa Voice Service (AVS), a cloud-based service that provides APIs to interface with Alexa which will enable small business/self-employed users to manage business expenses and business income at their fingertips and voice to maintain a clear accounting for their business tallying with bank data.

    Product development & Enhancements[edit]

    Initial Release

    Initially, Numreceipt was designed for Personal users to track their personal expenses, then later Numreceipt was developed for small business/self-employed users/Accountants for managing their business expenses and income effectively.

    Subsequent Release

    Numreceipt released it’s Android app[2]on July 7, 2012, and subsequently, Android Project Services like Login/Sign up Page and Camera view was released on August 29,2012.

    In  April  2013, NumReceipt Inc, released   Business Miles which helps the users to calculate the Travel miles. It uses the GPS  on the user’s phone to track and detect the trips to automatically log all the trips and generates periodic reports for reimbursement or tax deduction.

    By 2017, NumReceiptInc[3] had developed Accountant Plan and was released on Web. Many enhancements like the Business pro logo for business pro users and upgrade for pro storage Plan was done. One of the major enhancement of Migration to google  Cloud was successfully implemented on November 14, 2017.

    In the year 2018, NumReceiptInc  released enhancements  that contain several improvements to the existing ones and new features such as  Pull Bank Transactions, adding   Recurring Expenses  were released

    Product[edit]

    NumReceipt uses OCRtechnology to Scan the receipts to convert the paper receipts into expenses. It also allows the users to  Add expense, income, recurring expenses and to generate expense reports. Business owners can add their employees to their account for approving or declining the employee expenses. Accountants can Add their clients and can audit the client and their employee accounts.NumReceipt currently supports major 51 currencies of the World and expenses can be added in any currency. All data will be stored in the cloud allowing users to access the reports at any location on desktop, mobile or iOS[4]. .
