Numark Industries is a manufacturer of audio equipment for disk jockeys,[1][2][3] founded in 1971, and based in Cumberland, Rhode Island, United States.[3]
History[edit]
Numark was formerly owned by Jack O'Donnell. Numark acquired Alesis in 2001.[4] In 2012 InMusic Brands acquired Numark, including its ION Audio, Alesis and Akai Professional brands.[citation needed]
Products[edit]
Numark makes DJ mixers, turntables, MIDI controllers, DJ CD players,[3] DJ DVD mixing consoles,[citation needed] and mixing software (called Cue).[citation needed]
Numark introduced the ION Audio brand for their consumer products, including devices connected to computers via USB. It acquired Alesis and Akai Professional.[citation needed]
