Nuzuhath Shuaib
Nuzuhath Shuaib is a Maldivian actress.
Early life
Nuzuhath was born in N. Manadhoo.[1] She expressed her desire to pursue a career in acting while working at Jelly Pizza.[1] She was working with an Animation Dance group before her friend, Ali Azim, introduced her to the team of Malikaa.[1]
Career
Shuaib made her film debut in the Ali Musthafa-directed Malikaa (2017) alongside Mohamed Jumayyil, which did not perform well at the box office.[2][3] Ahmed Adhushan of Mihaaru was appreciative of Shuaib's screen presence, specifically applauding her performance in emotional scenes.[4] She next featured alongside an ensemble cast including Yoosuf Shafeeu, Mohamed Manik, Ahmed Saeed, and Ali Seezan in a romantic comedy film Naughty 40 which was directed by Shafeeu.[5] The film met with both critical and commercial success, emerging as one of the highest-grossing films of 2017.[6][3] She next appeared in an item number in Abdul Fatthah's Hahdhu. The song was a remixed version of the iconic song "Girity Loabin" which was performed by Dhohokko. Aishath Maaha of Avas picked the song as one of the big highlights of the film and further wrote; "the remixed composition to Nuzuhath Shuaib's moves, the song is a winner".[7]
