All-Europe Player of the Year
The All-Europe Player of the Year is an annual award given by Eurobasket, that was inaugurated in the year 2002. The winner of the award is deemed to be the best professional level basketball player on the European continent during the year. All players that played in a professional league in Europe during the year are eligible for the award. This includes players of all nationalities (including non-Europeans, Americans, etc.) and all pro leagues in Europe, including all of the individual European national domestic leagues.
The winner of the award is selected by a vote of nearly 300 sports journalists that cover European basketball for Eurobasket.[1]
