OD Quake
Gerald Barrow (born July 23, 1991) better known as his stage name OD Quake, is an American singer, songwriter, and rapper. He received major recognition from his first independent mixtape and self entitled track "Fireworks". In late 2018, OD Quakesigned his first management deal with Atlanta based management company, Ether Management & Consulting. He is slated to release his debut album Summer 2019.
Early Life[edit]
Gerald Barrow was born July 23, 1991 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He grew up in the neighborhood of Hunting Park, a lower middle-class suburban area bordering North Philly. Barrow lived with his Mother and Father, but later moved to the suburbs, where he ran his own studio business. Gerald attended Olney High Schoolbefore getting kicked out and having to attend CEP High School before dropping out his sophomore year to fully pursue his music career.

Barrow has stated that he is influenced by Boys II Men, James Blake, Drake., Ja Rule, Usher, DMX, Imagine Dragonsand Tupac
Barrow makes heavy use of Auto-tune, phasing, delays, and stereo-sculpted chorusing and harmony structures, predominantly influenced by producer DJ Montae. Quakes musical style has been described as a "blend between traditional Hip-Hop and New Age R&B" and often characterized as "Ambient";
