OTAA (stands for Online Ties Accessories Australia)[1] is an Australian online fashion retailer company based in Melbourne.[2] Founded in 2011,[3] it is one of Australia's largest online necktie retailers. This online fashion retailer company stocks over 4000 items, including ties, bow ties, pocket squares, socks and lapel pins.[2]

History[edit]

The company was co-founded in 2011 by two brothers, Shaheen Haroon a draftsman at an engineering firm and Fameez Haroon, a law school student, who both remain as creative and managing directors.[3][2]

The brothers, who now work with designers in the Czech Republic and Denmark said "the business was a small idea that started in Melbourne that has spread around the world, with the help of Instagram".[4]
