O P Rai [2] is an Indian Bollywood Director and the owner of the production house Kala Niketan Entertainment.[3]
Personal life[edit]
Born in the Muzaffar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh OP Rai graduated in Science from Meerut University, UP. He also did Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) Hons. from Gorakhpur University.
Career[edit]
Although being an Engineer he focused on film direction and production and thus Kala Niketan Entertainment was established in 2012.[2] The feature film produced & released under the banner of Kala Niketan Entertainment is Laat Sahab[4] in May, 2012 and Katto in July, 2014.
The recently release of director O P Rai is My Friends Dulhania[5][6] on 15 December 2017. Kala Niketan Entertainment entered in film distribution in partnership with VK films in 2015 in Delhi-UP & E.P film territory. The first release of this collaboration was Hey Bro of Ganesh Acharya . Later Gabbar Is Back, Tarzen, Guardians-The Superheroes and some small budget films like The Monk [7] were also released.
