Oan Ali Mohammed (Arabic: عون علي محمد; 1953- 5 May 1980) was an Iranian Arab founder and leader of the DRFLA. He is known for instigating the Iranian embassy siege during which he was killed.
Biography[edit]
Oan Ali Mohammed founded the Democratic Revolutionary Front for the Liberation of Arabistan (DRFLA), and he supported the Arab sovereignty movement in Iran.[citation needed]
DRFLA[edit]
Oan Ali Mohammed founded the group in 1979, after the siege it morphed with the Arab Struggle Movement for the Liberation of Ahwaz. DRFLA also caused the 1979 Khuzestan uprising.[citation needed]
