Oan Ali Mohammed (Arabic: عون علي محمد; 1953 – May 5, 1980) was an Iranian Arab founder and leader of the DRFLA. He is known for instigating the Iranian embassy siege during which he was killed.
Biography
Oan Ali Mohammed founded the Democratic Revolutionary Front for the Liberation of Arabistan (DRFLA), and he supported the Arab sovereignty movement in Iran.[citation needed]
DRFLA
Oan Ali Mohammed founded the group in 1979, after the siege it morphed with the Arab Struggle Movement for the Liberation of Ahwaz. DRFLA also caused the 1979 Khuzestan uprising.[citation needed]
