Oblivion Reloaded
Oblivion Reloaded is a mod for the game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, developed by Alessio Tamburini (Alenet), with some contributions from other people. The mod is part of TES Reloaded project and extends the graphics capabilities of the original game engine, adding also a lot of new features. It was born from the idea to create a plugin that collects new great features, breaking the limitations of a 2006 game, and in addition, including a series of other functionalities to improve not only the graphics, but also the game's playability and the stability. The project is not open source, but it is totally free for the end-user. You can find it on the official site, and you can download it for free of charge.
History

This is the year where the first version of the mod was born. One of the primary goals of the first version is to have a graphics engine improvement, with a better water rendering.

After days of work, Alenet improves a set of new shaders and this has a great impact on the graphics quality. Subsequently the mod arrives at a stable and nice version, implementing a lot of features, not only for the graphics.

The project comes bigger and Alenet decides to port the same functionality to the sequel TES V: Skyrim, as Skyrim Reloaded.
2017
TES Reloaded was born as a framework to work on both plugins (Oblivion Reloaded and Skyrim Reloaded).
2018
Due to several modding community requests, Alenet decides to create New Vegas Reloaded, a sort of spin-off, to use in another Bethesda game called Fallout: New Vegas.
