Oggy and the Cockroaches: Next Generation

Oggy and the Cockroaches: Next Generation (French: Oggy et les Cafards) is a French comedy animated television series produced by Xilam Animation, and based on Xilam's well-known series Oggy and the Cockroaches created by Jean-Yves Raimbaud.

Announced on September 7, 2020, the first previews of the show was released during MIP Junior 2020 from October 12-14th, 2020 in television event, and was eventually released on Guili on November 8, 2021. A global release is anticipated for 2022 on Netflix. Prior to its current name, it was named Oggy and the Cockroaches – Next Genation before its final release and The New Adventures of Oggy prior to partially reverting to its original name in late 2021.

Synopsis

Oggy and the Cockroaches: Next Generation focuses on Oggy taking care of Piya, a seven year old elephant who is the energetic, happy-go-lucky, and tender-hearted daughter of Oggy's Indian friends. While this presents as a good chance for Oggy to learn to how to be a parent (at the expense of his personal life), this also presents a great opportunity for the Cockroaches to use the blue cat's surrogate daughter to their advantage and find more ways to driving him insane.
