AstroLOLogy is a 3D animated comedy web series produced by Lemon Sky Studios.
The series centers on the comedic adventures of a cast of characters based on the 12 signs of the western zodiac. Each character has a unique personality and design inspired by a particular star sign from the zodiac, along with some additional twists. Each episode in the series is a self contained plot following the activities of one or more characters.
As of December 2020, the official AstroLOLogy YouTube channel has amassed over 779,000 subscribers and over 314 million views across all of it’s episodes.[1]
Background and history[edit]
AstroLOLogy first began production in 2016, with Lemon Sky Studio’s co-founder/chief creative officer Ken Foong conceptualizing the series and its characters while also serving as the director and producer of each episode.
On July 24, 2018, the first episode of AstroLOLogy was uploaded on the series’ official YouTube channel, "Aquarius Telly Vision".
In December 2018, the AstroLOLogy YouTube channel earned a YouTube Silver Play Button, upon reaching 100,000 subscribers. The series was also made available for viewing on USP Studios, Wildbrain and YOBOHO YouTube hub channels.[2][3]
In November 2019, a Japanese adaptation of AstroLOLogy was broadcast on the Japanese television channel J:COM.[4][5]
In December 2019, the AstroLOLogy YouTube channel reached 500,000 subscribers.
In March 2020, episodes of the Chinese version of AstroLOLogy were made available for streaming on the Tencent Video (腾讯视频) streaming website.[6]

Characters[edit]
Aquarius[edit]
Aquarius is determined to improve everybody's quality of life through scientific and technological innovation, but lacks the intellect to come up with trustworthy inventions and usually comes up with ideas that backfire. Friendly but awkward when it comes to socializing. If there is a problem then Aquarius believes he's the perfect person to come up with the best solution even if his help is not needed or wanted.
Often gets lost in his own thoughts. When he gets nervous he builds little gadgets and modifies household machines to break the ice.
Pisces[edit]
The biggest celebrity in the AstroLOLogy Universe and a genuine Diva. Pisces is a creative force of nature whose passion can be overwhelming. A theatrical Drama Queen who is larger than life and exaggerates everything. Though generous by nature and full of joy, she has an unpredictable artistic temperament.
She prefers to live in her fantasy world most of the time, and sometimes she can't tell the difference between what is real and what is not. Cursed by bad luck when she sings, she often gags/chokes on foreign objects (cookies, insects, birds) when she opens her big mouth to sing.
Aries[edit]
Fiercely competitive and brave. Aries' entire life is one big competition that he intends to win. A bold and impatient individual who is very easy to distract, provoke and manipulate, Aries loves challenges and likes to tackle practical problems head-on.
Gifted with incredible speed but not the endurance or coordination to go with it, which often gets him into situations that are too big for him to handle. Aries never wastes time thinking and wants everything done fast, instead of done right. Aries also idolizes Leo, the macho lion who also loves a contest, but is unfortunately not a good role model for Aries.
Taurus[edit]
Taurus is the strong, silent type and can be very stubborn if challenged. Massive in size and strength but is actually a sensitive soul who cares very deeply about things. Looks suited for heavy industry or construction but is in fact a romantic who runs a bakery.
May not look like a big thinker, but he's always calculating things in his mind. A determined, hard worker who always puts in 100% effort. Taurus is not a great communicator and tends to be brooding and awkward at socializing. However, to those he respects and cares about, Taurus is a loyal and dependable friend.
Physically indestructible but emotionally fragile.
Gemini[edit]
The Gemini Twins are curious and always full of hijinks. Always close by whenever something big is about to happen. Impulsive and somewhat manipulative pranksters who are always happy to cause mayhem. No matter what goes wrong, the Gemini Twins never stay down for very long, and it's impossible for their friends to stay mad at them.
The Gemini Twins are each other's best friend and worst enemy. They never miss an opportunity to hit each other with cheap shots and are constantly arguing and play fighting - which often leads to chaos.
Cancer[edit]
The nicest and sweetest looking girl out of the entire AstroLOLogy cast. Likes all the classically feminine things, such as fashion, flowers and romance. Her imagination is so powerful that she often gets carried away by her fantasies, and sometimes just a glimpse of a baby kitten or one look from a hunky guy can make her swoon. Cancer also loves caring for others, and looking after people.
Her daydreams can make her head swim with happiness and bliss but they can also fill her thoughts with suspicion and dread. Has a short fuse and a bad temper which can be easily triggered when things go wrong or when someone betrays or upsets her.
Leo[edit]
Strong, handsome and charismatic, Leo is a born leader and also a local celebrity who lights up any room he walks into and instantly makes other people feel better. Leo comes alive in front of a crowd, and hates to be alone. Though he has a good heart, Leo is drawn to glamorous things and tends to be vain at times. He loves his own good looks and roars loudly at his own jokes. Run a fitness center, spa and salon, and does his best to help other people try to look as fabulous as he does.
Leo is extremely self-conscious, which manifests in him being the "King of Selfies", and constantly checking himself out every time he sees a reflective surface.
Virgo[edit]
A successful and stylish dentist and entrepreneur with a military mindset. She's organized, tough, follows the rules, manages her time with precision, and she won't quit until she has given the whole world the perfect smile.
Beyond obsessive - a control freak who will stop at nothing in her mission to wipe filth and stains off of the face of the earth. Virgo loves hard work in a very traditional sense, and she respects people who chase down their dreams. Virgo's dream is the pursuit of perfection, which gets her out of bed in the morning and also keeps her awake at night.
Libra[edit]
A relaxed personality who seems oblivious to the challenges of daily life, but has actually reached a higher plane of consciousness. Libra believes in balance at all costs and is often called upon to act as a judge or arbitrator as a result. While compassionate and kind, Libra will act with extreme prejudice if the situation demands it.
However his key purpose is to diffuse tension and encourage forgiveness.
Libra has some genuine magical powers - using his golden scales he can cut things in half to settle disputes or clear obstacles. And by touching another character and channeling their fate, his open mouth transforms into a movie projector that shows them the possible future of their decisions and actions. He can also manipulate time itself and change the outcome of TV shows and movies to suit his tastes.
Scorpio[edit]
Scorpio is not an easy person to like, but he's worth the effort. On the outside he is a bad-tempered bruiser who can't take a joke and who generally expresses himself through physical violence. But on the inside he is a passionate and soft-hearted person who just wants to create amazing things and find true love. Scorpio may not enjoy socializing, but he watches people closely and then quietly goes the extra mile when no one is watching him: Often helping out his friends with secret acts of kindness.
Scorpio has great self-esteem, most of the time. However he also serious issues about being short, and always gets furious when his lack of height works against him.
Scorpio stings himself with the venomous stinger on his head when he needs extra energy, strength or rage to do what needs to be done.
Sagiattarius[edit]
Sagittarius is a child of the wild who feels more at home in the forest than living in the city. For her, being truly free means everything and being out in the elements fills her heart with joy. A fun, beautiful girl who is well liked, although people struggle to keep up with her or to tolerate her wild ways.
Her untamed nature also means that she has poor manners and doesn't care about how she looks or smells.
Despite her love for life, Sagittarius is not a great people-person and doesn't fit in very well in AstroLOLogy city. Beloved by animals of all kinds, Sagittarius is an animal-whisperer who can get wild creatures to do whatever she wants. Sagittarius also has a number of animal-like habits and abilities herself, such as climbing walls, catching bugs with her tongue like a tree frog, swinging from vines, and sleeping upside down like a bat.
Capricorn[edit]
Capricorn appears to be small, weak and shy, but actually has an oversized heart and an oversized brain. As the Bellman at the city's best hotel Capricorn is an "old soul" and nothing fazes him. Will find a way to complete any task that he is given even if it kills him. His supercomputer-like "goat-logic" helps him evaluate outcomes and craft meticulous execution plans for even the simplest tasks. A workaholic who is highly disciplined and always ready to serve his guests. Small and quiet, he moves around unnoticed and is often spotted in the background or turning up in strange places.
Capricorn likes to do things the traditional way and does not like surprises or spontaneity.
