Okan Pulukcu
Okan Pulukcu (born November 20, 1985 - Istanbul) is a Turkish computer engineer. Okan Pulukcu is a software engineering professional with the ability to deliver complex programming and systems architecture solutions. He made contributions in the areas of software development and software integration using Java EE and TIBCO technologies.
Education
Pulukcu has a Bachelor of Computer Science in Computer Engineering from Istanbul Kultur University. [1] He also possesses a Master of Science in Information Technology from Bahcesehir University.
Pulukcu completed his master of science research thesis in the area of software integration models, where he developed a web service testing and service integration tool that can be used to increase the speed of integration process and to reduce its costs.[2] By the developed software, testing of web services and web service integration with each other are accomplished with Lightweight SOA model.
Career
After his 2009 graduation from Istanbul Kultur University, Pulukcu then worked at IT departments in several banking and telecom companies. Pulukcu’s information technology career consists of a number of technical positions such as a Software Engineer at Turkiye Is Bankasi; a Software Analyst at Sekerbank; a Multi-Channel Architecture Consultant at Akbank; an Integration & Middleware Solutions Senior Specialist at Vodafone and his current position as founder of his own IT company in the United Kingdom.
His integration project portfolio consists of working on multi-million projects involving multiple software programs, web and non-web applications, and external & internal platforms. Completed projects included integration with web banking software infrastructure, Facebook banking infrastructure, and customer order management systems.

Publications
Thesis of MSc: Web Service Test and Integration Tool
Integration service development and management can be facilitated by Lightweight SOA model have been revealed.[6] As an implementation of this model “Web Service Test and Integration Tool” was developed using NetBeans IDE 7.4, JDK 1.7, GlassFish Server 4.0 and Swing as GUI. By the developed software, testing of web services and web service integration with each other are accomplished with Lightweight SOA model.[7]

Vodafone Star Award
Awarded Vodafone Star in August of 2015 for the achievements attained by showing exemplary behaviours aligned with the Vodafone Way values and competencies.
Vodafone IT Outstanding Success Award
As a developer, upon zero downtime and operational excellence of participated projects, Pulukcu was awarded the Vodafone Outstanding Success Award.[8]
