Adelusola Ebenezer Femi (born 27 September 1990), popularly known as Olakira which literally translates to “Shining Star" in Swahili, is a Nigerian Afro Pop recording artist.[1] In 2020, he released the single In My Maserati while signed to U&I Music.[2]
Early life[edit]
Adelusola Ebenezer Adefemi was born in Ogun State[3] and studied Mass Communication at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.[4] He was influenced by his environment, and upon discovering his musical inclination, he went on to attend a music school and worked as a producer in a local church where he met a record label executive of U & I Music, with which he signed a record deal in 2018.
Music career[edit]
He made his debut into the Nigerian music scene in June 2018 with two singles, “Hey Lover” and “Flirty Signal”.[5] Both singles garnered over 3 million plays on YouTube,[6] Spotify, and Soundcloud. He is currently signed with U&I Music.
