Old Empire is the third and final EP by the American alternative rock band Nova Mob, released on 5 September 1994 by World Service.[1] The title track is taken from their eponymous second album, Nova Mob, while the remaining three tracks were recorded for Dutch radio.

The Phoenix New Times said of songwriter Grant Hart, "He writes absolutely barbed hooks that catch on glorious washes of distorted guitar. . . . "Old Empire" could have found a home on Husker's godlike Warehouse: Songs and Stories".[2] In a 2017 tribute article, Pitchfork called "Old Empire," "buzzing power-pop" that "shows Hart’s ear for hooks intact".[3]
