The Old North State League (ONSL) is a wood-bat collegiate summer baseball league,[1] featuring college players recruited from throughout the nation. The league has expanded over the years with teams across the state of North Carolina with the most recent being in 2022 with the addition of the Hendersonville Honeycrisps and the Marion Swamp Foxes.[2] As of 2022, the league consists of 13 teams stretching to every corner of North Carolina.[3]

History[edit]

Founding[edit]

The Old North State League was founded in 2018 and is the largest Summer collegiate baseball league in North Carolina. Alec Allred founded the league[4] to be a league truly for the players.[5] The goal was to help each player develop, showcase their abilities in front of scouts, while also giving them the opportunity to enjoy their summer across the great state of North Carolina.[6]
