Olga Gomonova is a Russian-born fashion model, business woman and entrepreneur.
Early Life & Education[edit]
Olga Gomonova was born in Tula, Russia. She moved to the United States at the age of 19. She attended Tufts University and Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.[1]
Career[edit]
Gomonova spent her early career as a runway fashion model in Moscow and New York traveling and appearing at fashion events.[2][3]
In 2016, Gomonova co-founded a sustainable fashion company ChicCartel,[4] which was lunched as a part of the New York Fashion Week.[5]
The company is a multi-vendor online platform driving marketing, sales and growth for up-and-coming fashion brands based in the United States. The Company's mission is to support female entrepreneurship by making it easier for female founders to launch their businesses. ChicCartel initial focus is on sustainable fashion making, sustainable purchasing easy and empowering local female designers to make their Garments in a sustainable fashion.[6]
Olga Gomonova is a topic contributor at Huffington Post and School for Startups Radio syndicated in 15 markets in the United States.[7] She is on the list of Top Female Entrepreneurs[8] to Watch speaking frequently about female Entrepreneurship and the importance of supporting women in business.[9][10]
