Oliver Julian is a freelance composer[1] for television and film based in Sheffield, UK.[2] In 2018 he received a Royal Television Society Craft & Design Award for his music in Motherland[1] and was nominated for other Royal Television Society and Ivor Novello Awards in 2013 and 2020.[3][4]
Career[edit]
After earning a Master's degree in audio production from the University of Westminster in 2008[5][better source needed], he composed music at Soundtree Music in London[2] for advertising campaigns, before he moved into television and film in 2011, scoring the television series Spy.
His more recent work includes scores for Sex Education, Motherland, In My Skin, Us, Breeders, Code 404, How to Build a Girl and Plebs.
He has collaborated with Nick Foster.
