Olivia Rox (born Olivia Isabella Hannah Hill; January 16, 1999) is an American pop singer, songwriter, and actress that made her break after becoming a top finalist in season 15 of the American Idol[1].
Early life[edit]
Olivia was born in Boulder, CO but now resides in Agoura Hills, CA[2] She is the daughter of the Jazz saxophonist legend Warren Hill and singer-turned-producer/director Tamara Van-Cleef. Her exposure to performing and singing on stage started as early as the age of 2 when she joined her father onstage to sing and perform "Someday My Prince Will Come" from the movie Snow White at the Chicago Theatre[3] and even wrote a original song by the age of 4 [4]. Olivia Rox graduated at the age of 16 in order to pursue a career in music.
Career[edit]
At the age of 8, Rox created and starred in her own critically acclaimed featured film, [5], to which she also wrote the soundtrack [6].
Afterwards, Olivia started posting covers and even original material on YouTube and got to audition season 8 of America's Got Talent [7][8]. She moved past the Vegas round but was ultimately one of the eliminated acts in that round [3]
In 2012 she moved from music to the big screen with her starring in a Sci-Fi short film [9][10]. By 15, she got the attention of Warner Brothers Records and signed a record deal that allowed her make an album written entirely by herself but after the company went under a rebuild, the contract fell through and ended [10].
During that time Olivia decided to start a web series called "Roxumentary" to document her journey in the music industry.
American Idol[edit]
Based on her appearance in America's Got Talent, and her other artistic roles, she got an invite to re-audition for season 15 of American Idol. With the judges praise for her ability to sing and perform, she managed to get into the top 10 but was eliminated for her song selection of "Unconditionally" from Katy Perry[11].

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Olivia surprised her fans with a acoustic album, [14], that was free for the first month as a small way of giving back.
Olivia has also released multiple music and lyric videos on her official website and her YouTube channel, [15], and has had released weekly content on Facebook for her QuaraTUNE interview show. [16]. Olivia is working on her third studio album with her independent record label Songbird Music Group.[17], created and led by Olivia's mother and manager Tamara Van-Cleef[18]
