Olivia Smallshaw (born 5 October 2010) is a British youth cyclist competing across road, track, cyclo-cross, and time trial disciplines. She rides for Secret Training CC, achieving multiple podium finishes in British national-level youth races and is ranked highly in both road and track youth series. In 2025 she was named a Junior Women Best All-Rounder in British time trial competition by Cycling Time Trials.[1]

Career

Road and Time Trial

Smallshaw has been successful on the road at British Cycling–sanctioned youth events, with victories and podium placings in stage races and one-day events. In the 2025 season she finished third overall in the North West Youth Tour and won its opening stage, alongside wins at the Fort Vale Colne Grand Prix and Sheffield Grand Prix in the Under-16/Youth A category. She also placed second overall at the Isle of Man Youth Tour.

On the track, she has featured in national youth track events, finishing on the podium in the omnium and scratch race at British Cycling competitions.

In time trialling, Smallshaw was recognised as one of the top performers in the junior women classification by Cycling Time Trials in 2025, reflecting her strength and consistency across multiple distances in individual time trial events.[2]

Cyclo-cross

In cyclo-cross, Smallshaw has competed in national series and championships in the Youth U16 category, including top-ten finishes at the Lloyds Cyclo-cross National Trophy Series.
