Ollia Tzarina (born May 22, 1994) is a Greek fashion designer of Russian descent who is the founder and creative director of the fashion label “Tzarina by Ollia”. She is best known for her fashion creations worn by notable people in the media and music industries.[1][2]
Life
Oli Tzari Xenakis was born to a Greek father, a prominent figure in Asia, and a Russian mother. She grew up in Miami, Florida, with visits to Greece several times a year[3]. She went to study at a private school in the UK and later on at Central Saint Martins. Later on, she dropped out of acting in a French film in which she was cast to play Salma Hayek’s daughter.[4] After studying at the London College of Fashion, Oli did internships at notable magazines including Vogue and Tatler in London and then moved to the South of France. [3]
Career
Around 2015, Tzarina discovered by accident the technology that supports her brand “Tzarina by Ollia” at a trade fair.[3] A faux jacket that felt so soft and real inspired her to create a collection of furs made of Italian silk in 50 different colors.[5] Her brand, launched in 2015, is based in Milan with headquarters located in Business Bay in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Los Angeles, California. Her creations are worn by celebrities including Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendal Jenner, Rita Ora, Ariana Grande, Haifa Wehbe, and Jennifer Lopez. Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendal Jenner, Pia Mia, Rita Ora, Haifa Wehbe, and Jennifer Lopez, she later sold the brand and went on to write an anonymously written best seller inspired by her relationship with a Formula 1 driver. She is the owner of a fashion blog ‘OTX’ that showcases luxury fashion.[3]
