Oluwaseyi Moejoh born (born 2002) is an environmentalist currently studying law at the University of Lagos, whose areas of interest are environmental education, sustainability,[1][2][3] and ocean protection.[4]
In 2017, she was appointed the sustainable development goal 6 ambassador at The Nigerian Child Initiative,[5] a nonprofit organization working to improve access to healthcare and mentorship for children in underserved communities. She co-founded U-recycle Initiative Africa[6] to promote sustainable, local and innovative solutions to mitigate the plastic pollution and climate crisis in Africa and the World.
Moejoh is a Fall 2020 National Geographic Young Explorer[7] and also a 2020 SOZO Youth-in-Development Fellow and a 2020 Africave fellow.[8] In 2022, she was the recipient of The Diana Award for her exemplary role in educating[9] the young generation on climate change [10]
In 2021, they launched a fellowship with the support of the ‘National Geographic Society’, which scaled their environmental and youth development projects across seven states in Nigeria.[citation needed]
