Career

Om Tantia is a bariatric surgeon based in India. Dr. Om Tantia is currently Medical Director & Head of Department of Minimal Access and Bariatric Surgery in ILS Hospitals, Kolkata, India.[1] He has experience in minimal access surgery and Bariatric Surgery for over two decades.[2] He has been a member of Obesity Surgery Society of India (OSSI) since 2007.[3][4] Dr. Tantia has been awarded the title of ‘Surgeon of Excellence’ by Surgical Review Corporation.[5]

Personal Life

He is married to laparoscopic surgeon Dr. Aruna Tantia.[6]
