Omar Jamal Al-Omar Arabic: عمر جمال العمر is a Kuwaiti businessman, investor, and entrepreneur. He is the Chairman of OJO Group of Companies.[1]
Early Life and Education[edit]
Al-Omar was born in Kuwait on February 1, 1989. In 2013, he earned a bachelor's degree in international business and economics from Richmond American University London. He furthered his education with coursework in Leadership and Business at Imperial College London.[2][3]
Career[edit]
Al-Omar's business career began in 2013 at Al-Omar Center for General Trading and Contracting Company. There, he held various positions, gaining experience in trading, and contracting, as well as oil and gas services. By 2018, he had risen to the board of directors and subsequently became the company's CEO[1]. During his leadership, he oversaw diverse business sectors and projects, developing expertise in strategic development, project implementation, international business consulting, finance, and human resources. The company secured and executed tenders exceeding USD 6 billion under his guidance.[4]
In 2016, Al-Omar took on the role of Chairman and CEO at Al-Ahliya Al-Rubaiya[5] General Trading[6] and Contracting Company. He focused on delivering strategic and operational solutions to businesses, government entities, and institutions. Additionally, Al-Omar managed to establish and maintain strategic partnerships with prominent figures in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.[7]
