Omer Netzer (Script error: The function "langx" does not exist.; born June 2, 1994) is an Israeli country music artist currently based in Nashville, Tennessee.
Biography
Omer grew up in Nahariya, a small coastal town in northern Israel. His parents owned the local music shop, which allowed for exposure to country and Southern rock. Omer grew up listening to Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, The Allman Brothers, B. B. King, Hank Williams, and Elvis.[citation needed]
At the age of 18, he enlisted into the Israel Defense Forces and served as a combat medic. During his service, he'd frequently play his guitar to relax after the days of long work.[citation needed]
Omer moved to Nashville to further his career in fall 2023. However, he returned to Israel after the October 7 attacks to fight Hamas in the Gaza war.[1][2][3][4][5]
