"On My Love" is a song by Swedish singer Zara Larsson and French DJ David Guetta. It was released on 15 September 2023 through Larsson's record label Sommer House as the third single from her upcoming fourth studio album. It was written by the artists alongside Dewain Whitmore, Patrick “J. Que” Smith, Castle, Andre Davidson, Sean Davidson, and Giorgio Tuinfort who also produced it alongside Guetta and Cesqeaux. The song was their second collab together after their "This One's For You" which also was the official UEFA Euro 2016 song.[1]
Composition and lyrics[edit]
"'On My Love' is about the relationships you have in your life that mean so much to you that you would put everything on them, Whether that’s a platonic relationship, something with a family member, a lover, a friendship or whatever it is. We all need someone that just brings you pure joy, because that’s what life is all about." Zara says through a press statement.
The song is described as a "club-ready dance track" and has a dance beat which at a slow pace builds into a euphoric climax.[2]
Music video[edit]
The music video was released alongside the song on 15 September 2023. The music video include footage of Zara and her sister Hanna, both as kids and now. Zara described it as "a love letter to my best friend, my other half, my sister". It's filmed in Ibiza.[3]
