One Day Alive is an American rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio. The current lineup consists of founder and guitarist Tony Russomanno, lead vocalist Randy Webb, guitarist Casey Davis, bassist Scott Ryan, and drummer Garfield Redden.

History[edit]

Current lineup and mainstream success (2020-present)[edit]

Tony Russomanno assembled the current lineup with vocalist Randy Webb, beginning in 2020.

Russomanno met Webb through a mutual friend and after writing a couple of songs, the band grew, with bassist Scott Ryan joining shortly thereafter. As the band was recording some initial tracks, Webb reached out to his longtime friend, Garfield Redden, to lay drum tracks. Realizing the band's potential, Redden quickly decided to stay on as the group's permanent drummer. Redden grew up in San Diego, California. His father, a lead vocalist, played alongside Jake E Lee (future Ozzy Osbourne guitarist) in Teaser, which became the house band at the club Straita Head Sound. At the age of 10, Redden was exposed to the Metal Glam scene, as he became the drum tech for his father's band.[1] Redden eventually relocated to Cincinnati,Ohio, where he later served as a touring drummer for Tommy Tutone, between 2008 and 2010. As a teenager, Randy Webb's first exposure to Redden was when he was in Tes2babies, as a fan. It wasn't too long after seeing Redden play, that Webb's own band, Fractured Mirror, opened up for them.[2]

In 2022 the band signed with Silent Majority Group, under the direction of manager Jeff Hanson, the former manager for platinum-selling artists Creed, Sevendust, and Alter Bridge. One Day Alive's upcoming debut full-length album, set for release in the fall of 2023, was produced by Saving Abel founder and guitarist, Jason Null, with music industry veterans Malcolm Springer and Skidd Mills mixing and mastering several tracks.[3] The album's first single, "Bringing On The Pain," had climbed to number 13 on the SMR rock chart by February 2023.[4]

In 2023, studio guitarist, Casey Davis, joined the band as a second guitarist.[5]
