Celeste Lopez (born November 18, 1997), known professionally as Cece BKE, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter from Chicago, Illinois.[1] She is known for her energy and confidence and the diversity and realism of her music. Music has always been a part of her life, but she first gained recognition at a professional level after her independent release of several singles and mixtapes in 2018 and 2019.[1][2][3]
Early life
Cece Bke was nine years old and growing up in the Humboldt Park area of Chicago when she first began developing a passion for music. It all started at home where her parents listened to artists like Tupac, Craig Mack, Eve, and 8Ball & MJG.[4] As Cece listened to their music, she began to memorize the lyrics and would recite them back while performing for her family. Her parents’ musical influence became her foundation.[1][5]
