One Way State is a Canadian modern rock group from Edmonton, Alberta. The band is composed of Cody Mack and Nick Moir on guitars and vocals, bassist Brandon Thomas and drummer Charley Jeske.
History[edit]
Their debut EP One Way State, released in 2010, and garnered significant airplay on Canadian campus radio. The album debuted at #19 on CJSR's campus radio chart.[2]
In February 2011, One Way State was nominated for an Edmonton Music Award for Best Live Performance.[3] By that time the band had released two singles.[4]
Their second EP, The Right Time, was released on March 16, 2012, to mostly positive reviews,[5][6] and was followed by another Edmonton Music Award nomination for Artist To Watch.[7][8] The band toured around Canada in support of the album.[9]
