Online Blockchain plc (LSE: OBC) is a UK-based incubator and developer of businesses in internet and information-based technologies, including developers, administrators and custodians of blockchains and cryptocurrencies. The company created global financial website ADVFN and today still has a holding of 17.98% in ADVFN plc.
The company changed its name from On-Line plc on December 20, 2017 to reflect its work in the blockchain technology and cryptocurrency fields. The announcement of the proposed name change the month prior saw its share price increase by 394% in one day.[1]
