The Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA) is the professional organization charged with governing the practice of Landscape architecture in Ontario.[1] The body derives its powers from The Ontario Association of Landscape Architects Act, 1984. Its statutory mandate is to improve and advance the profession of Landscape Architecture, and to maintain standards of professional practice and conduct which serve and protect the public interest. The OALA is governed by an elected Council.
