Opace Ltd (known as Opace or Opace Digital Agency) is a UK-based Information Technology and digital marketing company, with headquarters in Birmingham. The business was founded in 2008[1] and in July 2010 the company was incorporated as Opace Ltd.[2]

Opace was founded by David Julian Bryan, an entrepreneur and software engineering graduate[3] from the University of Wales who had previously worked as a change consultant and enterprise architect at Capgemini and CSC (Computer Sciences Corporation), both award-winning multinational consulting firms.
The company name Opace was created as a play on words, “ Open - Source”, “Platforms”, “Agency”, “Cloud Computing”, and “Experts”, intended to represent the services being provided.
The core focus of Opace is on open-source software development, eCommerce, consultancy, and providing innovative digital marketing services that blend technologies like Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence.
Growth[edit]
Opace has grown its client base over the years to cover a broad range of marketing sectors working with organisations throughout the UK and globally. The company started as a small agency and has since grown to become one of the leading names in the UK digital landscape and has been named as one of the top B2B companies in the United Kingdom by Clutch in 2020, 2021, and 2023. Other awards include being named the Top Full-Service Digital Company in Birmingham.
The team, which originally started with David now includes 12 members of staff who all play significant strategic roles in the company.
In 2020, Opace branched out to provide blockchain hardware solutions to businesses[4] who has been widely followed and cited by industry experts for their data and analysis on cryptocurrency trends.[5] More recently, Opace has added AI into its mix of services and contributes regularly providing in-depth analyses on emerging technologies and trends such as AI, often sparking intensive online debate.[6]
The latest innovation by Opace is the launch of their AnswerMate.ai concept which provides an AI fully automated AI telephony service where callers can engage with conversational AI voicebots using OpenAI and ElevenLabs for text-to-speech synthesis.
