Operation Stranglehold
Operation Stranglehold was a bombing mission conducted on May 22, 1969 during the Vietnam War. Operation Stranglehold was planned to bomb and damage NVA supply lines along Route 6 and 7 and ruin the NVA supply lines in the Plain of Jars. They planned a hundred bombing runs daily, mostly in mid-afternoon, where most of the equipment is moving about. However, this did not deter the NVA's will to fight and damage their supply lines.[1]
