The Oran Derby, also known as the Mouloudia & Jam'iya derby, is an football match between Algerian clubs MC Oran and ASM Oran in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1. It is a match between arguably the two most successful clubs in Oran. Usually, the derby is played twice each season with two matches in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1, but it is not uncommon to find the teams meeting each other in the Algerian Cup.[1][2]
History
The Oran derby dates back to the creation of the first championship of Algeria after independence in 1962.
