Oscar "Beau" L. Beasley (11 March 1995 - living) after 30 years of service, retired Captain of Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department assigned to Engine Company 427[1] now fly fishing show promoter[2], is an award-winning journalist,[3] investigative conservation writer[4] and recreational author.[5] His even-handed approach and through research on difficult access and use issues have garnered him respect with conservationists and the general public alike.
