Otovo overview
Otovo is originally a Norwegian solar energy company, Otovo AS[1], which was founded in 2016 by Andreas Thorsheim[2] and co-founded by Simen Fure Jørgensen[3].
The company helps private homeowners install solar panels on their roofs in order to produce electricity. Since its start, Otovo has installed over 5,000 photovoltaic systems in Scandinavia and over 10,000 in Europe.

Otovo's role in reaching the UN sustainability goals
In order to reach the UN sustainability goals[7] 7, affordable and clean energy, and goal 13, climate action, the Norwegian government provides private citizens with a subsidy called "Enova støtte"[8] to help fund installations of solar panels on their roofs.
As a result, customers benefit from a lower cost of installation of solar panels on their roofs and, in addition, are able to follow their CO2 reduction in an app provided by the company.
