Otovo overview[edit]
Otovo is originally a Norwegian solar energy company, Otovo AS[1], which was founded in 2016 by Andreas Thorsheim[2] and co-founded by Simen fur Jørgensen[3].
The company helps private homeowners install solar panels on their roofs in order to produce electricity. Since the start, Otovo has installed over 5000 photovoltaic systems
in Scandinavia and over 10 000 in Europe.

Stock market listing[edit]
Otovo was listed on the stock market in 2021, hence making it possible for photovoltaic owners to invest in the company.
Otovo's role in reaching the UN sustainability goals[edit]
In order to reach the UN sustainability goals[7] 7, affordable and clean energy, and goal 13, climate action, the Norwegian
governments provides private citizens with a subsidy called "Enova støtte"[8] to help fund installations of solar panels on their roofs.
As a result, customers benefit from a lower cost of installation of solar panels on their roofs and in addition, be able to follow
their CO2 reduction in an app provided by the company.
