Owen Norton (born 18 September 1999), is a British producer and musician. Having had releases on Interscope Records,[1] Columbia Records[2] and Atlantic Records,[3] he is best known for the tracks "Infinity" and "Talk To Me" with fellow Leeds signer and songwriter Hannah Trigwell, as well as his remixes for Selena Gomez, The Chainsmokers, and Flo Rida.

Career[edit]

2016[edit]

On 19 February, Norton's first release was "Infinity", a collaboration with personal friend Chasner.[4] Martin Garrix played it in Mexico at Electric Daisy Carnival.[5] Shortly afterwards, Norton released his first solo single "Liberté" [6] which was broadcast on Capital (radio network) and Radio 538 via Martin Garrix's radio show.[7]

After being approached by Atlantic Records, Norton went on to produce one of four official remixes of Flo Rida's Hello Friday which was released on 6 May 2016.[8] The remix also premiered on EDM YouTube Channel "House Nation" [9] and has over 3 million views as of January 2018.

Following up, Norton released his next two singles 'Name Me'[10] and 'Watermelon',[11] both of which saw uploads on popular YouTube channel House Nation,[12][12] a division of Trap Nation.

2017[edit]

On 17 March, solo instrumental "Lights (I Need You) was released.[13] He then released a remix for Young (The Chainsmokers song) which was released on 16 June.[14] It went on to become Norton's most popular Soundcloud upload, and received support from YouTube channel Proximity, where it was viewed over a million times[15] as of January 2018. Norton then released "Talk To Me" with Hannah Trigwell[16] on 4 August which was a success in several of Spotifys Electronic playlists, before being remixed by artists Catnip, Sam Berson, Danny Lunt and Samuel Xantos on "Talk To Me (The Remixes)"[17] which was released 7 weeks later on 22 September.

2018[edit]

2 February saw the premiere of Nortons remix of The Chainsmokers' Sick Boy (song) on their "Nice Hair" radioshow, broadcast on Sirius XM,[18] which was then released a week later on 9 February.[2] 2 weeks later, Norton then released an official remix for Selena Gomez and marshmello's hit Wolves (Selena Gomez and Marshmello song)[19]

On Monday 16 April 2018, Norton announced he has signed with Dutch management company Devoted Management,[20] who are also managing Dutch DJ Dannic.
