Oye Akideinde (born Oyebowale Babatunde Akideinde on October 11, 1978), popularly known as Oye Akd is a Senior Management Executive, Entrepreneur, Blogger. He is a co-founder of 360Nobs, an online entertainment, fashion and lifestyle magazine alongside Noble Igwe and Tonia Soares.[3][4] He was also the regional director of music streaming platform - Boomplay Music.[5] In 2016, he was named as one of the most influential young persons in Nigeria.[6]

Early life and education[edit]

Oye was born and raised in Nigeria where he had his primary and secondary school education. He studied Computer science at the University of Lagos and obtained a master's degree in Information System from University of Hertfordshire, UK.[7] He is an alumnus of Berklee College of Music.

Career[edit]

Oye started his career at UAC after returning to Nigeria in the year 2004. He moved to FCMB and then partnered with Noble Igwe to launch 360Nobs, he took up a job when Spinlet launched in Nigeria before finally leaving to Tecno where he is currently the Regional Director for Boomplay Music.[8][9]

Recognitions[edit]

In 2010 Oye was nominated as the PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR (CORPORATE) at the Future Awards.[10]

In 2016, Oye was listed as one of the Most Influential Young Nigerians by Avance Media[11]. He was awarded Marketing Edge's 2018 ‘Digital Entertainment Innovator’.[12]

He was also listed as one of the panelists for the MTVBase Naija Hottest song.[13]

Oye is married and lives in Lagos, Nigeria.
